Terms and Conditions

You may treat the rental car as your own with a few exceptions:

You may not lend the vehicle to any person other than a family member. If you wish to lend the vehicle to someone other than a family member you must consult the dealership first. Remember you are always responsible for the vehicle and that all drivers are authorised to drive the vehicle.

You may not carry any furred animals in the vehicle without permission from the dealership.

You may not take the vehicle out of Sweden without permission from the dealership.

You may not use the vehicle for learner driving without permission from the dealership.

You may not manage taxi or delivery services with the vehicle, not tow, push or move another vehicle and not use in any motor competition.

You are responsible for keeping the vehicle in a functional and legal state during the rental period.

If the vehicle is neglected or dirtier than expected from normal use the dealership can take payment from you for cleaning.

The dealership has the right to inspect the vehicle during the time you are renting it if they have reason to suspect that it is being neglected.

If the vehicle is stolen, damaged or breaks down!

You must always notify the dealership if something happens to the vehicle.

In insurance cases you must immediately make a damage report to the dealership.

In the case of theft you have to report it to the police in the city where the vehicle was stolen and send a copy of the report to the dealership.

Information for returning the vehicle

You can always return the vehicle earlier than appointed.

Unless agreed differently the vehicle shall be returned to the same place as you picked it up from and during the dealership's normal opening hours. If you return it late or at another depot, the dealership can charge you extra rental cost and compensation for picking up the vehicle.

It is a criminal offence to use the vehicle after expiry of the rental contract.

Your responsibility towards the dealership

You are responsible to pay the car rental on time.
You are responsible if the vehicle gets damaged or stolen during the rental period.

You are obligated to pay fines; damages etc, which could occur costs to the dealership for careless driving, speeding, parking infringements etc. If you fail to pay any incurred parking tickets, you will have to pay an extra administration fee to the dealership. The dealership also has the right to break the contract if you mismanage the vehicle or drive it carelessly risking devaluation of the vehicle.

Rental person (you) and/or the driver (if it's another person) that breaks the conditions (for example don't pay on time or mismanage the vehicle or in any other way that could incur costs to the dealership) will be reported to BURF:s information list, which is regularly updated and distributed to member car rental companies.

You must always try to minimise damage that you could cause the vehicle or dealership.

If you have to make an insurance claim.

Your rental car is fully insured.

Your rental car does not have any insurance that covers theft of extremely valuable cargo. Discuss it with the dealership before you transport anything valuable, for example valuable art, jewels or similar.

If the vehicle is damaged or stolen during the rental period or if you have to use the vehicle's tow or rescue insurance you are liable to pay damages of the amount that is stated under point 8 at the back of the rental agreement. You can reduce your self risk to a minimum amount (see the rental agreement) for every claim if you choose to purchase self risk reduction. Self risk reduction is not valid if the vehicle is stolen with the vehicles key. You must always complete necessary damage reports for the self risk reduction to be valid. Special youth self risk of 1500 SEK is valid if the driver is under 24 years old and is responsible for traffic damage.

Lowest price guarantee

You will always be charged for the lowest price of our two charging options.
Once you return the vehicle we compare the cost using the daily charge and mileage option with the cost under the unlimited mileage option to guarantee you the best value. You do not need to decide which pricing option to take until you return the vehicle.
